battlegrid.io respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the game collects, why it is collected, and how it is used.
Connection Identifiers: When you play online, the server receives a temporary connection identifier (socket ID) used to route gameplay messages. This is necessary for real-time multiplayer and is not used for marketing.
Player-Provided Data: Your chosen display name and any optional profile information you enter in the game. You can change or remove your display name by rejoining with a new name.
We use the minimal data needed to run the multiplayer game: matchmaking, in-game state, and to maintain the server. Data is used only to provide game functionality and to troubleshoot issues.
battlegrid.io displays advertisements through Google AdSense to support development and server costs. When you consent to ads:
We do not require an account, email address, or payment information to play. We do not sell personal data. You can decline advertising consent and still play the full game.
The game uses open-source libraries and may be hosted on third-party infrastructure. These providers may process connection logs for service operation, but we do not share player-identifying information for marketing purposes beyond what is disclosed in the Advertising section above.
Runtime connection metadata is transient and only stored as long as needed for gameplay and debugging. Any long-term logs are retained only for troubleshooting and are not used for profiling players.
You can choose any display name when joining. If you want data removed from server logs, please contact us (see below) with details and we will review your request.
